Founder

President and founder Martin Aguirre Carrasco, III is a PhD candidate at the University of Notre Dame in the Biological Sciences department. He holds a bachelor of science in biology from Texas Tech University, where he graduated magna cum laude. His current PhD project entails elucidating the overwintering strategy of Cucujus clavipes by a proteomic approach via mass spectrometry based proteomic analysis. He has also published papers on exercise physiology and has a broad base of knowledge of science; with firsthand experience in biochemistry, molecular biology, bioinformatics, physiology, and genetic engineering. As a competitive powerlifter who has exercised regularly for over 14 years, he has a unique perspective as to what can be effective from a scientific standpoint but also what is practical for use in training and competition.
