Who we are?

Martaca Enterprises was founded in 2007 in order to design and implement novel products that allow for improvements in performance & health. Current scientific literature has elegantly characterized the underlying physiological basis of fatigue, muscle growth & energy enhancement. Though advancements have been made, there exists emerging technology coupled with novel techniques that allow for a more comprehensive and thorough insight into these areas. Furthermore, even in literature there are gaps where the research team failed to comprehensively examine significant parameters. Martaca Enterprises was created in order to bridge the gap and to pioneer new methods for addressing age old problems with the intent of offering the solutions to the public.

The Koolicane

In essence, the Koolicane is a cooling head band. There are two main parts, the Heat Dissipater and the head piece. At 3 pounds, the Koolicane max is lighter than the leading competitor but the cooling effects last up to five times as long (per Thermal Exchange Matrix). By simply replacing the battery and Thermal Exchange Matrix when they run out (usually at 6 hours for the batteries and 13 for the TEM), the Koolicane’s cooling power lasts indefinitely.

The Koolicane can increase athletic performance. Studies indicate that using the Koolicane during exercise allow the individual to recover quicker from exercise and exercise longer before becoming fatigued. In addition, less fatigue is reported as less total metabolic energy is expended per exercise session to regulate body temperature.
